The broken seal

So I had ANOTHER first happen to me today!  If the end of this year is a clue to the whole of next year it is going to be a wild ride.

Now I have been buying groceries for years. I know you might not believe it, but it is very much true. One summer I did most of the grocery shopping for my family by making a trip a day or so to the grocery store....on my bike.  Literally as far back as I can remember I have been shopping at the grocery store.  Today after I got back from my local bulk shopping trip I was excited.  I got lots of healthy stuff....the usual bell peppers and the pears I am excited to dry for the first time next year, I also went with the small indulgence of animal crackers....I will admit probably bigger than I needed.  Before I even finished unloading my groceries with my mom and I decided to spin the little top off and dig in for myself....and what should happen?  THE LITTLE PAPER SEAL IS BROKEN!!!!  I have lived like my entire life reading things that say "do not tamper with seal" "do not consume if seal is broken" etc.  SO I am not a happy person. Tomorrow will be my little adventure to figure out if the store will fix it for me.  I was going to take the risk and try it....but people are crazy these days and I decided that most people that were going to tamper with food to hurt people would probably do it this time of year.   No little animal cracker sweet for me today....but an interesting first....
