Key Lime cookies

So once in a while I will have key lime SOMETHING (it varies) that is near perfection, pie, cheesecake, etc.  (I can feel my calories packing on...ug! so much for the diet)

Anyways it is these things that make me want perfection....and when I saw the random recipe here i figured it would go well on my new things to do list....bonus that I would have key lime juice in hand when i decide to be daring and make key lime pie.

Again I left out the zest....zesting takes a talent that I have yet to master to the point of perfection....so I try to avoid it whenever possible.

It turned out fairly sweet and tart....but more crumbly than I would have liked.  But an adventure....sorta weird and fun!

The coolest thing about this was popping the "log dough" into the fridge for a good hour or so and then sliced it into cookie pieces.  I had never done that with a cookie before.  Other than the ones that you use from the store (haven't boughten those in ages)

Have a great adventure!
