I have yet to understand HOW this has happened to us but I can't complain! It scares me because I know at some point that I will have some weird charge to cover this negative amount, and will pay what feels like more.
Anyways when we moved our electric bill was weird madness. We were on the balanced payment plan for our old place and I guess our electric/gas usage reflected more, so we payed some bizarre amount and turned on the new place. The next month we had some weird negative bill, so I celebrated and moved on. I wondered about this and at some point I am sure I did pay more, but it was a very cool idea to have a credit in a bill that we pay on a regular basis.
